As a Forensics Accounting - Senior Associate you will focus on fraud, investigations, and regulatory enforcement work that helps clients identify financial misconduct, support inquiries, and confirm compliance with regulatory requirements. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, build client connections, mentor junior team members, and use critical thinking to interpret data, address ambiguity, and guide workstreams within our Fraud, Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement practice. In this role at PwC, you will draw on forensic accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and a client-focused mindset to develop deliverables, respond to varied stakeholder needs, and contribute to work that supports ethical business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting forensic accounting analyses to identify irregularities in financial records and transaction patterns
  • Investigating suspected fraud, money laundering, and compliance breaches using document review and data analysis
  • Interpreting accounting records, ledgers, and supporting evidence to develop clear findings and issue-focused conclusions
  • Applying forensic methods to trace funds, assess asset movement, and evaluate control breakdowns across complex engagements
  • Preparing workpapers, summaries, and presentations that translate technical results into clear client-ready deliverables
  • Coordinating assigned workstreams, tracking deadlines, and prioritizing tasks across multiple investigations
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing guidance on forensic procedures, documentation, and analysis
  • Building client relationships by gathering facts, responding to questions, and adapting to evolving engagement needs
  • Using forensic accounting tools, analytics techniques, and regulatory knowledge to support investigative procedures
  • Maintaining professional and technical standards while handling sensitive information and ambiguous fact patterns

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Economics, Engineering, Finance
  • Demonstrating coursework or internship exposure to forensic accounting or investigations
  • Applying data analytics tools to identify anomalies and support conclusions
  • Interpreting financial records, transaction patterns, and evidence sources
  • Developing client relationships while navigating complex, changing matters
  • Mentoring junior team members while managing multiple workstreams
