As a Forensics Accounting - Senior Associate you will focus on identifying and preventing fraudulent activities, conducting investigations, and confirming compliance with regulatory requirements within our Fraud, Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex matters, build client relationships, manage assigned workstreams, mentor junior team members, and use critical thinking to interpret data, develop insights, and support sound recommendations. In this role at PwC, you will help safeguard organizations against financial crime, apply forensic accounting methods, and deliver work that reflects your understanding of the broader business context and the needs of each engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing financial records, transaction data, and supporting documentation to identify signs of fraud, misconduct, and regulatory breaches
  • Conducting forensic accounting procedures across client engagements, including tracing funds, reconciling accounts, and testing controls
  • Developing case files and workpapers that clearly document findings, methods, and supporting evidence
  • Interpreting complex data sets and translating findings into concise recommendations for investigative and compliance teams
  • Applying forensic accounting methods and digital tools to support investigations involving financial crime, fraud detection, and record review
  • Coordinating assigned workstreams and tracking milestones across multiple client deliverables
  • Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing guidance on investigative methods, documentation, and analytical approach
  • Building client relationships by responding to questions, discussing issues, and presenting findings in a clear and professional manner
  • Monitoring regulatory guidance and financial crime trends to inform investigative procedures and client support
  • Contributing to the development of investigative strategies, issue assessments, and remediation actions

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

  • Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Economics, Engineering, Finance
  • Demonstrating forensic accounting knowledge in client service settings
  • Interpreting financial records and transaction patterns for fraud indicators
  • Applying data analytics tools to investigative workstreams
  • Communicating findings clearly across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Guiding junior team members through complex case tasks
