Right now, we are seeking for a Structures Foreman with heavy civil and structures experience to join us in our projects in Wellington

This is a site-based role suited to someone who comes from a strong heavy civil structures background and has led complex reinforced concrete works on major infrastructure projects.

In the role

You will drive structural construction activities across a diverse portfolio of projects including: Large bridge structures, Wastewater treatment structures, Pump stations, Retaining structures and associated heavy civil infrastructure. It’s hands-on, fast moving, and built for someone who can keep people, plant and materials lined up while maintaining high standards for safety, quality and delivery.

Key role responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day site activities for structural works, coordinating crew and subcontractors safely and efficiently.

  • Oversee reinforced concrete, precast and structural steel works to drawings, specifications and programme requirements.

  • Organise labour, plant and materials so work fronts are ready, productive and running smoothly.

  • Monitor safety, quality and productivity, completing required checks and site documentation.

  • Work closely with Engineers and Supervisors to plan ahead, solve issues and keep delivery on track.

We’re looking for someone with

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Foreman role and 8+ years in civil construction across structural projects such as bridges, reservoirs or other major concrete structures.

  • Strong experience in reinforced concrete, precast and structural steel on active construction sites.

  • Solid understanding of formwork, falsework, temporary works, reinforcement, concrete pours, precast installation and steel erection.

  • Confidence leading from the front, supporting site crews and building strong working relationships with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.

  • A practical, straight-up approach with a strong focus on safety, quality and getting the job done right.
