At Portland Mazda with the legendary Tonkin family, you’ll work in the largest Mazda dealership by square footage, with state-of-the-art equipment, multiple alignment racks and tire machines, up to two bays depending on productivity, and clean, comfortable employee locker and break rooms.
We invest in our technicians through paid in‑person and online Mazda certification training—from Certified to Master—and reimburse ASE certifications, all within a top‑notch service department known for a strong culture and full bays. Ford/Mazda Technician Job Responsibilities
- Automotive diagnostics and inspections
- Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts
- Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process
- Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team
Schedule: M-F or T-Sat., hours may vary

QualificationsFord/Mazda Technician

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience
- Ford/Mazda Certified is preferred but not required
- Personal Tools
Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
