
Organization's Summary Statement:
The Football Coaching Operations & Analytics Strategist is responsible for coordinating the daily operational needs of the team and coaching staff while leading the football program's analytics and strategic decision-making initiatives. This position serves as the bridge between coaching, operations, video, technology, and data analysis to ensure coaches have accurate, timely, and actionable information to improve team performance and game preparation. The position requires exceptional organization, communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure Division I football environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Big Ten Conference, and university rules and regulations, as well as dedication to the full academic development of student-athletes. Strong communication, organization, and administrative skills.
Physical Demands:
This position requires working during evenings and weekends, which are considered non-standard work hours. While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee operates a computer and other office devices such as telephones, copy machines, etc.; Constantly moves about the facility and event site before, during and after events to service clients; and constantly communicates via telephone, email and in person with others to exchange accurate information. Standing, walking, kneeling/crouching, balancing, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
Preferences:
Experience working within a fast-paced, high-volume educational or collegiate institution.
