We are currently seeking individuals to join our school cafeteria team. This position offers a consistent schedule of 5 hours per day, 5 days a week, making it an excellent opportunity for those with children attending school.

The work environment is positive and engaging, with responsibilities that may include serving on the lunch line, operating the cashier station, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the dishwashing area.

The Food Service Worker prepares and serves attractive and nutritious meals in a friendly, efficient and clean atmosphere and maintains related paperwork accurately and completely.
Must be a TEAM player, in order to accomplish the end result, whether it be in preparation, service or clean-up.

Position is performed in an indoor kitchen environment. Therefore, an ability to stand for extended periods; twist, bend, and move freely; and lift up to 30 pounds is required. Employees are required to stand for the entire shift, usually 2-4 hours (sometimes longer periods of time).
While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat. She/he is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
