We are looking for energetic and efficient food truck workers to work at our new food truck in the wonderful nature destination Kerið Crater. It is a full-time and permanent position with a 2-2-3 shift schedule. Please note that this

Tasks and responsibilities

• Present menus in a friendly manner, take and serve orders accurately and efficiently.
• Panini/sandwich/other food preparation according to recipes and quality standards, managing inventory and stock, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Handle payments (cash and electronic).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck and work area, including occasional cleaning and maintenance tasks outside the truck.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce restaurant standards to guarantee a safe working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive atmosphere.

Skills and requirements

• Valid hygiene pass (food safety certification)
• Valid drivers license (B1)
• Experience in food service is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Dependable and proactive with a decent taste palette and visual eye to ensure up to quality dishes
