We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Technician & Quality Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional who is passionate about food safety, continuous improvement, and making a genuine difference.
About the role
As the Food Technician & Quality Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving Merriwa’s food safety, quality and compliance systems. Working closely with the Senior Manager Compliance and Quality Team, you will help ensure our products consistently meet regulatory, customer and internal standards.
This hands-on role will see you supporting production teams, monitoring quality systems, analysing data, conducting audits and driving a strong food safety culture across all stages of production.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
