Job Description

The Village of Erin Meadows has an exciting opportunity for a Temp Part time Food Service Aide to join their team.

  • Location: 2930 Erin Centre Blvd., Mississauga
  • The hiring rate for this role is $22.78 per collective agreement.
  • Total Hours: 26 hours (bi-weekly)

    Schedule

    Week 1

    • Thursday: 7:30am –2:30pm

    Week 2

    • Monday: 7:30am –2:30pm
    • Saturday: 7:30am –2:30pm
    • Sunday: 7:30am –2:30pm

As a new Food Services team member joining our Village, you will:

Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents. You will assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques.

Food Services Team Members at Schlegel Villages assist with the preparation of catering functions and events, and in maintaining and clean dining room and workspace.

To be successful as our new Food Services team member, you will:

  • Have completed the Food Services Worker training program
  • Hold a valid Food Handlers certification
  • Be excited by our objectives, our Village philosophy and the family values that shape all aspects of life in a Schlegel Village
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
