
Volunteers of America Ohio and Indiana is seeking a full-time Food Service Worker to join our valued Crossroads Shelter program. VOAOHIN is dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. As an organization stretching across Ohio and Indiana, we have over 1000 committed and compassionate employees working in multiple impact areas. The (full-time) Food Service Worker will have experience preparing and serving portion-controlled, nutritious meals for our shelter residents. Additional duties will include maintaining cleanliness and managing food inventory to ensure we meet clients' needs. Preferred Food Service Worker applicants will hold a High School diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of food service experience and food handler certification or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment. Your contribution as the (full-time) Food Service Worker will touch the mind, body, heart – and ultimately the spirit – of those we serve while integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.
