Schedule: Thursdays @ 5:00am – 1:30pm; Saturdays & Sundays @ 10:00am – 6:30pm.

Aurora Charter Oak Hospital has been delivering Behavioral Health Treatment Services for over 83 years. We are located on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Covina, California. Covina is about 22 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, in the San Gabriel Valley, close to 10, 60 and 210 FWY.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
· High School Degree or equivalent experience
· Able to concentrate on work in a noisy, loud conversation, busy foot-traffic environment
· Able to meet deadline consistently
· Able to finish all food preparation at specified serving time
· Flexible in wok hours to meet patient and organization operating needs
· Able to maintain self-control in volatile or hostile customer service interactions
· Able to use kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers and dishwashers
· Knowledge of hygiene factors involved in food preparation
· Knowledge of cleaning products and cleaning methods for a variety of surfaces
· Food Handler’s Cert from an ANSI accredited program to be obtained within 30-days of hire

We have been providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services at this same location since 1941. Covina is about 22 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, in the San Gabriel Valley. The San Gabriel Mountains provide a stunning backdrop to our campus, which includes Aurora Charter Oak Hospital and the Charter Oak Recovery Center. Our campus includes three separate buildings featuring eight separate units for adolescents and adults requiring inpatient care, a Residential Treatment Center (RTC), an Outpatient Services building, and an Assessment Center which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our campus also includes a pool and a gymnasium.
