Objectives are to skillfully perform multiple tasks necessary to operate the Food and Nutrition
Services/Dining Services Department to prepare and serve attractive, nutritious, satisfying meals
and to provide quality nutrition care in a safe, sanitary, and cost-effective manner to patients,
clients, and customers.
Food Service Workers plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive appropriate and nutritious meals. In addition, a food service worker in a hospital setting contributes to the overall well-being of patients by preparing and delivering nutritious meals, adhering to dietary restrictions, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. This position performs a variety of cleaning tasks:
