Food Service Workers are essential in feeding everyone within the hospital. They help with:preparing a patient’s meal tray for delivery,delivery of meals to patient rooms,dishwashing,separating trash/recycle/compost, andre-stocking supplies.
Job routines require patient interaction, working as a team, the ability to standand walkforlong periodsoftime,and moving large carts throughout the hospital. Great attitude and navigation skills are helpful!
Education:High School diploma or equivalent preferred, minimum 18 years of age.
Experience:Prior experience in a high volume, fast paced food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge/Special Skills:Ability to read, speak, writeand understand English.Mustpossessexcellent customer service skills and be able to follow basic oral and written instructions. Meets the physical demands of thejob,including standing for extended periods of time and walking longdistances.Must be dependable – no excessive absenteeism/tardiness - per department policy. Understands and follows safety and sanitation procedures.
PAY & BENEFITS Base Pay: Hourly rates starting at $2122/hour and up based on experience. In addition to the hourly pay rate, evening/weekend/night shift workers receive a differential,dependingupon which shiftisworked
