Food, and Nutrition Services goals are to provide a variety of nutritional, safe, attractive, healthy food choices for patients, visitors, and staff.
Food and Nutrition Services' goals are to provide a variety of nutritional, safe, attractive, healthy food choices for patients, visitors, and staff. Preparation and delivery of off-scheduled patient services, provide high quality, good presentation and high level of customer service satisfaction with sanitary conditions maintained throughout service and clean-up.
· Prepare and portion food items, including washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring ingredients.
· Cook and fry foods according to recipes and safety standards, ensuring proper temperature and quality.
· Serve patients, staff, and visitors courteously and efficiently while following dietary guidelines.
· Operate cash register and answer Food Service phones to assist customers and staff.
· Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and floors according to infection control and safety procedures.
· Wash pots, pans, and dishes following hospital sanitation standards.
· Properly store and label food items using safe food handling and rotation practices.
· Safely transports food trays and supplies to and from kitchen and service areas.
· Follow all hospital safety, dress code, and infection control policies.
· Participate in required training, safety drills, and team meetings.
