RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages, supervises and coordinates assigned activities associated with Food Service and may be required to assists with the preparation, assembly and service of meals and performance of duties and assignments in the University Health System Cafeteria/Food Service Department. Compiles and maintains all data required for variance and yearly budget reports. Assures the competent, efficient, and timely performance of duties and assignments within the food service department. Complies with all Food Service Department and regulatory agencies policies, guidelines and regulations. Maintains excellent guest, customer, professional and public relations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Five years experience in Retail Food Operations, or Food Production, or Patient Food Service preferred. Three years in a management/supervisory position in a Food Service Operation or equivalent preferred. Certification from a recognized culinary arts institution, food preparation or food service management is preferred.
LICENSURE/REGISTRATION
Must maintain a current Serve Safe Certification. Must keep current any registration and licenses as appropriate to work duties.
