Education

  • You must complete all training required by Whitsons and the government as needed
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB:

  • While performing the tasks of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit, walk, talk, and listen
  • Use hands and fingers to feel, manipulate, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
  • Standing most of the workday, as well as walking around.
  • Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Sometimes it is necessary to lift while turning from side to side.
  • Specific visual skills required by this job include near vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The position sometimes requires extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple job sites, and occasional out-of-state travel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically in the packaging and warehousing areas.
  • Standing is required for most of the workday.
  • The work requires movement in and out of warehouses, near heavy machinery and freezers.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high
