Job Description

Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to support Wentworth‑Douglas Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire. What You'll Do

  • Create and deliver welcoming café and food service experiences for patients, visitors, and hospital staff each day
  • Ensure high‑quality food service execution across assigned retail and/or non‑retail operations
  • Lead, mentor, develop, and retain a tenured frontline staff of 35
  • Direct daily operations focused on food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee multiple retail food operations that may include branded concepts, ensuring teams have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to succeed
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, regulatory, safety, and sanitation requirements
  • Support operational goals by managing labor, inventory, and supplies efficiently

What You Bring

  • 1-2 years experience in food service or restaurant management, preferably in healthcare
  • Demonstrated ability tolead and engage frontline teams
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to balance operational priorities
  • Experience with cash handling, inventory/purchasing management, and food safety standards
  • Comfortable working in afast‑paced, patient‑focused setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, and team members
