So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?

-Performs various tasks in connection with the preparation of a limited variety of fast foods involving a grill microwave oven and or deep fryer.

-Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition adhering to all sanitary rules and regulations. Keeps counter and other equipment and appliances clean and sanitary.

-Determines the need for and obtains replenishment of supplies from a designated location.

-May also assist in training Food Service Workers.

The Qualifiers:

·18 months of experience performing various tasks involving the preparation and serving of food.

·Must pass an employment criminal background check.

·Must be a U.S. Citizen

·Frequently lifts or moves objects up to 45 pounds. Is required to stand constantly and walk in accomplishment of duties.

18 months of experience performing various tasks involving the preparation and serving of food.

SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: One year of high school education may be substituted for 3 months of experience up to a High School Diploma or GED for 12 months of experience.

Physical requirements: Frequently lifts or moves utensils or containers of food weighing up to 45 pounds is required to constantly stand and walk in accomplishing work.

This position requires a secret clearance tier 3 level personnel security investigation for suitability. Failure to obtain acceptable results within 6 months of appointment will result in termination.
