The Food Service Specialist manages the food program at the Center, including food pick-up, service, deliveries, and kitchen clean-up. Ensures food items are available, prepared, and served for all meals and snacks 5 days a week. Cooperates with the teaching staff to ensure a high-quality food program for the children.

Maintains proper level of departmental inventory of foods, kitchen equipment, and supplies.

Responsible for the cleanliness and condition of the kitchen and food service equipment of the CDC.
Maintains high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Enjoys being with young children and meeting their nutritional needs.
