This position performs cashiering and customer service duties in retail areas to provide accurate revenue collection and to assist in providing high quality customer service to customers.
Shift: Full time from 5:30 am - 2pm, and 1:00pm - 9 pm (occasionally) Weekend and
holiday rotations are required in this role. Enjoy a flat rate $1/hour weekend shift differential and an 18%-night shift differential when applicable.

Our facility includes a 28 bed cardiovascular intensive care unit that specialized in the recovery of surgical patients, cardiogenic shock, and CRRT. Our 60 bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit specializes in fast-paced procedural recovery and our 23 bed Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit specializes in surgical recovery. Our space also includes two endovascular suites, six OR suites, six cardiac Cath labs, and three electrophysiology labs.
This position performs cashiering and customer service duties in retail areas to provide accurate revenue collection and to assist in providing high quality customer service to customers.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Accurately records all sales in the Point of Sale System; transacts payments with customers.
2. Stores, counts, deposits and maintains register cash and receivables in accordance with the policies and procedures of the facility.
3. Maintains all assigned stations, keeping them clean, well-stocked, and attractive at all times.
4. Provides service to customers, meeting standards and guidelines. Responds to customer complaints and assists with problem resolution.
5. May perform cleaning, stocking, sign maintenance and other duties as assigned.
6. This position is in contact with patients, other food service department personnel, hospital staff, visitors and families. This position must have excellent customer service skills and be able to resolve customer issues at the point of contact.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires effective interpersonal communication skills, a friendly customer service attitude and the ability to accurately calculate and count change rapidly and repetitively. Good reading, writing and math skills. Must be able to learn food handling regulations and pass certification tests as required.
Requires the ability to learn Point of Sale cash register system, beverage brewing and/or dispensing equipment and cleaning equipment.
For Banner Staffing Services (BSS) team members, the food handlers' card is required within 30 days of hire. For BSS team members in Tucson and Colorado, the food handlers' card is not required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
