ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Service Assistant IIIto serve as a Host/Hostess in our Emergency Department This unique role is designed to enhance the patient and visitor experience by providing warm, welcoming, and attentive food service support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Location: Christiana Hospital – Newark, DE
Schedule: Part-Time (40 hours biweekly)
Shifts: Rotating – 7:30 AM–4:00 PM and 11:30 AM–8:00 PM; requires working every other weekend and holiday rotation.

This position has a starting rate of $18.08 per hour, regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.15 per hour. After one year of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $22.18 per hour.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
