Must be able to work with a computerized Micros System for order entry, pre-check functions, etc. Is familiar with all pre-check and cashiering procedures; presents check to guest and collects payment. Observes diners to respond to additional requests and to determine when meal is completed.

  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount
  • Adhere to established company and departmental procedures, guidelines and policies at all times
  • Maintain established company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at al times
  • Must be able to work with a computerized Micros System for order entry, pre-check functions, etc.
  • Serves all guests according to established standards of quality
  • Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion
  • Is familiar with all pre-check and cashiering procedures; presents check to guest and collects payment
  • Adheres to state liquor laws
  • Relays guest complaints/compliments to appropriate supervisor
  • Observes diners to respond to additional requests and to determine when meal is completed
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned
  • Knowledge of safety/guest liability procedures for guests and employees

Performs all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

  • Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions; maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments, and guests
  • Must be able to lift and carry small and large trays weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
  • Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours. Able to sit, walk, stand, bend lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred
  • Must have 18 years of age with a minimum of six months experience as a food server in high volume and/or fine dining environment is required
  • Prior wine knowledge is preferred but no required
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to effectively communicate in English
  • The ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management and handle all types of guest related situations
  • Must be able to obtain an ABC liquor permit
  • Responsible for keeping all licenses and permits current
