Job Description

Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal guests by displaying Family Style Service behaviors and Family Style Service skills. Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next. Utilizes smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness. Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates customer wins. Is ready to serve and well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs and any other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting. Anticipates needs of the guest and provides fast, flawless service. Executes all service programs to assure prioritization of service to very best guests. Checks for satisfaction and properly uses the Service Recovery process to resolve problems when they exist. Promotes Caesars Rewards programs and Caesars Rewards registration and membership. Provides a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting. Promotes Caesars and always projects Caesars in a positive light to guests.

Greets guest at assigned tables and ensures each guest has a dining room menu; obtains the meal and beverage order and gives to kitchen personnel for preparation. Obtains the food and beverage when prepared, delivers order to respective guest, and then moves on to service another table. Returns to each assigned table periodically to ascertain whether additional items are desired. When guests have completed their meal, a dessert is suggested and check presented. Requires having a basic knowledge of menu prices and composition of food and beverage menu items, daily specials and proper placing procedures. Responsible for cash and comp-check transactions. Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines and as outlined in RAMP certification.

  • Required to take and pass a Food Service Sanitation course within ninety (90) days of accepting the position.
  • Ability to carry and balance service tray on shoulder.
  • Must have legible handwriting.
  • Prior waiter/waitress experience preferred.
  • Able to read English and requires basic math skills.
  • Able to change schedule with short notice.
  • Able to work in a smoke-filled environment and is able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Accepts feedback and coaching from supervisors
  • Greets guests immediately, makes suggestions and answers questions regarding food, beverages, and service; guides guests through menus, answers questions thoroughly, and provides specific item suggestions and information about the establishment.
  • Takes and records food and beverage orders from guests
  • Processes guests’ orders, using the computer terminal according to established guidelines
  • Ensures that all food and beverages delivered and served are served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet the quality/presentation standards.
  • Observe restaurant guests to ensure that guests are satisfied with food, beverages, and service: immediately recognizes and responds to any guest needs and/or requests.
  • Maintains tables and station according to established guidelines throughout the dining experience.
  • Responsible for all checks issued to guest for payment, processes payment for service via cash, credit or other methods of payment.
  • Practices salesmanship to enhance the dining experience. Uses guests’ names regularly throughout the dining experience
  • Adheres to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.
  • Handles guest complaints or directs them to a manager.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Proficient with iOS devices
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Remaining calm in a hectic, fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Demonstrating a high level of organization, attention-to-detail, and a sense-of-urgency.
  • Displaying a positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests.

  • Must be neat and clean in appearance and physically fit to perform the duties required
  • Ability to move throughout the outlet (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to make repeating movements of the arms, hands, and wrists.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.
  • Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to loud/noisy environment.
