Job Purpose and Impact

The Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Data Specialist II will design and develop dashboards and solutions to standardize tools, key performance indicator reporting, data trends and reports across food safety quality and regulatory for a designated enterprise, business or region. In this role, you will coordinate data collection and validate the data to support the food safety management database. You will demonstrate familiarity with data management and data visualization to support decision making and partner with internal stakeholders to drive efficiencies through standardization and innovation.

In addition, this role will support operational excellence initiatives within the plant, providing leadership in Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory (FSQR) activities, contributing to SAP implementation projects, supporting production process improvements, and serving as deputy to the Production Manager in designated areas.

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyze, validate, and interpret data to provide insights, identify trends or anomalies, support standardization efforts, and respond to complex business requests.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, KPI reporting tools, data models, and technical solutions that support effective decision-making and continuous performance monitoring across the business.
  • Coordinate and support continuous improvement projects, ensuring alignment, standardization, and adoption of reporting, management systems, and operational best practices.
  • Act as deputy to the Production Manager in designated areas, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to the development of a positive, accountable, and high-performing shopfloor culture.
  • Lead and support Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory (FSQR) activities, including complaints management, non-conformities, CAPA, audits, HACCP, regulatory compliance, incoming inspections, control plans, and maintenance of quality documentation.
  • Partner with regional plants and production teams to drive compliance, monitor performance, follow up on corrective actions, and implement sustainable process improvements.
  • Contribute to SAP (TCA2) implementation activities through local coordination, process alignment, testing, user readiness, and go-live preparation.
  • Monitor, improve, and optimize production processes by driving Manufacturing Excellence initiatives, including Lean practices, waste reduction, efficiency improvements, and standardized shopfloor management systems and KPI structures.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, escalate complex matters as appropriate, and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in project management or continuous improvement
  • Experience in technology implementations.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Strong background in Quality Management (QM).
  • Solid understanding of production processes.
  • Experience with SAP (e.g., production, quality, or logistics modules).
  • Knowledge of process optimization and continuous improvement methods.
