Food Safety Product Compliance Intern

We are the Lavazza HR Talent Acquisition Team and we’re looking for a Food Safety Product Compliance Intern to join our Food Safety team at our Innovation Center in Turin.

The selected candidate, in collaboration with the tutor, will support our product development process.
Working under the guidance of the Food Safety team and in close collaboration with Regulatory, R&D, and Supplier Quality, the intern will contribute to our Food Safety Deliverables while developing hands‑on experience.

📊 Your main activities will include:

• Support the monitoring of food safety deliverables throughout development stages
• Assist in defining ingredient specifications and process parameters for new products
• Help identify applicable legal requirements and internal Food Safety Targets
• Draft and maintain the analytical Food Safety Control Plan
• Contribute to documentation and data handling, supporting interactions with external labs

💡 Who we’re looking for:

• You’re available for a six-month internship with full-time commitment. Starting date: September 2026
• You’ll be fluent in Italian and English
• You have a Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Safety Technology or Legal Studies (with focus on food law or regulatory compliance)
• You have good Excel and Power-Point skills
• You have a good knowledge of principal food contaminants and regulatory requirements
