Responsibilities and Duties
The Food Runner is responsible for helping the wait staff and bartenders deliver food and drinks to the guests.
- Quickly and accurately delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables
- Communicating with the kitchen and waitstaff to determine needs and relay special requests
- Keeping the expo line clean and organized and cleaning tables after service
- Monitoring and replenishing condiments and supplies
- Checking the doneness, appearance, and presentation of finished dishes and ensuring they meet presentation standards
- Addressing customer complaints and needs and providing excellent customer service.
- Assisting with setting tables for new customers
- Expediting carryout and catering orders
