Dining is an important part of life at the Club. Food Runners are a key part of this service team. They help connect the kitchen and dining room while keeping service organized and efficient during busy dining periods.

Position Summary
The Seasonal Food Runner supports the dining team by delivering food from the kitchen to members’ tables quickly and accurately. This role helps ensure that meals are presented properly and served at the right time while assisting servers and the kitchen during busy service periods.
Food Runners also help maintain service stations, assist with table clearing and resetting, and support the overall flow of the dining room.

Key Responsibilities
Food Delivery and Service Support
- Deliver food from the kitchen to dining tables promptly and accurately
- Confirm each dish matches the correct order before leaving the kitchen
- Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service timing
- Assist servers with delivering multiple plates during busy service periods
Dining Room Support
- Help clear tables and remove dishes during service
- Reset tables with clean glassware, silverware, and linens
- Assist with maintaining water service and bread service when needed
- Support the dining room team in preparing for the next seating
Service Station Organization
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen expo and service stations
- Keep service areas stocked with supplies including napkins, linens, and glassware
- Ensure food leaving the kitchen maintains proper presentation and cleanliness
Team and Event Support
- Attend pre-service meetings and daily service briefings
- Assist with preparation and breakdown of dining areas and special events
- Support banquet and event service when needed
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working as part of a team

Schedule and Availability

- Major holidays and holiday weekends including Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day
Schedules are determined based on business needs during the season.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during service
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequent movement between kitchen and dining areas
- Comfortable working in both indoor dining spaces and outdoor waterfront service areas
