Job Purpose

The newly opened AC Hotel by Marriott in Downtown Greenville is looking for a dedicated Food Runner to join the team at Paloma. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring that food and beverages are delivered to guests promptly, with a friendly and professional attitude, contributing to their overall satisfaction. The main goal is to enhance the dining experience by delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be personable, professional, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist guests by providing detailed information about specials, meals, drinks, and offering recommendations.
• Deliver food orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Accurately communicate orders to the kitchen, noting any special requests or allergies.
• Assist the wait staff by setting tables with appropriate tableware, utensils, napkins, and décor.
• Adhere to food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
• Occasionally check in with guests to address any additional requests or concerns.
• Clear dirty dishes from tables.
• Communicate customer feedback to management.

Experience/Education

A high school diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.
