Job Description

Sodexo is looking for a Production Team Member to join our Good Earth Coffeehouse team at Foothills Medical Centre.

This is a behind-the-scenes food preparation role with no customer service or cashier responsibilities. You'll spend your shift preparing the fresh food and baked goods that stock our cafés each day.

What You'll Do

• Bake and prepare a variety of baked goods
• Prepare fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other grab-and-go items
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and production requirements
• Package, label, and organize finished products
• Maintain attractive and consistent product presentation
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and proper rotation
• Keep production areas clean, organized, and sanitary
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen procedures
• Work with the production team to complete daily production requirements efficiently and on time
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing ingredients and supplies as needed

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on food preparation, working independently, staying organized, and taking pride in producing consistent, high-quality food.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, baking, kitchen production, deli, or a similar environment is an asset
• Comfortable preparing food and following recipes and portion standards
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and presentation
• Able to work efficiently and stay organized in a production environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an asset
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing the physical duties associated with food preparation and production

Experience is an asset, but a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are equally important.
