- Conduct strong shift starts, communicate priorities, and maintain focus throughout the shift
- Identify production obstacles and escalate or resolve issues quickly
- Coach employees on performance expectations and reinforce accountability
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and highly engaged work environment
- Support onboarding and training of new and existing employees
- Use Training Within Industry (TWI), Job Instruction, standardized work, or similar structured training methodologies to help employees learn jobs safely and consistently
- Verify that employees can demonstrate required job skills before working independently
- Help maintain and improve training matrices and employee skill records
- Work closely with production leadership, quality, maintenance, safety, HR, and other departments
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, labor utilization, quality, training, and efficiency
- Reinforce food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Help create a culture where employees understand both what is expected and how their individual performance impacts the larger operation
What We're Looking For
We are looking for individuals who bring energy and leadership to the production floor.
Strong candidates will have:

- Ability to remain organized and positive in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn, solve problems, and find a way forward when circumstances change
- Ability to hold people accountable while maintaining a respectful and supportive work environment
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
1st Shift Language Requirement
For 1st Shift Line Lead positions, fluency in both Spanish and English is required due to the needs of the workforce and the importance of clear communication, training, coaching, and safety instruction.
The Person Who Will Thrive Here
You may be a great fit if you:
- Like being on the production floor rather than sitting behind a desk
- Notice when something isn't working and immediately start looking for a solution
- Enjoy developing people and teaching others how to perform a job correctly
- Like numbers and want to know whether the team is actually meeting the goal
- Can organize people quickly when attendance or production demands change
- Bring positive energy to your team
- Are comfortable working in an operation that is growing and evolving
- Understand that standards, measurements, and accountability are essential to successful manufacturing
