About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Food & Pharma Division Manager to lead Alfa Laval’s Food & Pharma business across Oceania.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving strategy, growth, and operational excellence across Australia and New Zealand. As part of the Oceania Management Team, you will play a key role in shaping the region’s long‑term direction while delivering strong commercial performance today.

You will lead a high‑performing team and work closely with customers across the food, beverage, dairy, brewery, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors — helping them meet the highest standards of quality, hygiene, efficiency, and sustainability.

What You Will Do

As the leader of the Food & Pharma Division, you will:

  • Champion a safe, compliant, and quality‑driven culture, aligned with food and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver profitable and sustainable growth across the Food & Pharma portfolio in Oceania.
  • Develop and execute a clear divisional strategy aligned with Alfa Laval’s global Food & Pharma priorities.
  • Drive sales and business development across base business and project opportunities, leveraging digital and hygienic process solutions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing divisional team, setting clear direction and accountability.
  • Strengthen customer relationships and position Alfa Laval as a trusted technology partner.
  • Lead transformation initiatives to build a modern, data‑driven, customer‑centric organisation.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments across food and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Collaborate closely with Service, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Global Food & Pharma teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Act as a senior representative of Alfa Laval with key customers, partners, and industry bodies.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years’ experience in Food, Beverage, water management, Pharma, Biotech, or process industries, with strong commercial exposure.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a senior leadership role with responsibility for people, strategy, and financial performance.
  • Strong understanding of hygienic processing, quality standards, and regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to drive growth, transformation, and team performance in complex organisations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • A strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and passion for leading people through change.

Why Join Us?

  • A senior leadership role with significant influence over a core Alfa Laval division.
  • The opportunity to shape the future of food and pharmaceutical processing in Oceania.
  • A purpose‑driven organisation committed to sustainability, safety, and innovation.
  • A collaborative and empowering environment where you’re trusted to lead and encouraged to challenge the status quo.

If you’re a driven, forward‑thinking leader ready to make an impact in Food & Pharma — we want to hear from you.
