Prairie Co-op is seeking a Food Division Manager to lead our Food Division, C-stores.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing multiple retail store operations, ensuring they meet their sales, profitability, and strategic goals. This is a key Senior Leadership role that will collaborate with the senior leadership team to contribute to the overall strategic planning and decision-making for Food Division, C-stores at Prairie Co-op. The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced leader with a strong background in food retail leadership.

What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute the Food Division's annual Business Plan, collaborating with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to drive long-term growth and sustainability.
- Oversee the division's budget, ensuring the achievement of financial targets including sales growth, margin optimization, and efficient inventory management.
- Direct the operations of retail stores, ensuring the consistent implementation of policies, merchandising standards, and best operational practices.
- Analyze market trends to develop innovative, localized marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for business expansion, such as new locations or product lines.
- Foster a Customer-Centric culture by developing and enforcing high customer service standards that align with overall Co-op strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Store Managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.
Who you are:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is required, with a strong preference for a focus in Business or equivalent experience.
- Experience: You must have 12+ years of relevant industry experience, which includes at least 10 years in a leadership role and 5+ years specifically in the Food sector.
