Our 10 Long Day Care Centres and 9 Outside School Hours Care facilities are proud to serve as pillars in Early Childhood Education and Care.

What We Offer:

About the Role:

As a Food Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for preparing fresh, age-appropriate meals for children aged 0-5. This includes accommodating dietary requirements, managing kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, hygienic food preparation environment. You’ll also play a key role in creating a positive food culture at mealtimes, making it an enjoyable experience for our little ones. This is a hands-on role, and you’ll be involved in everything from food prep to dishwashing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare balanced, nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s needs.
  • Dishwashing & Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and hygienic, upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene.

  • Collaborate with Educators: Work alongside qualified team members to support children's learning and development through healthy mealtimes.
  • Engage with Children: Foster a positive food culture by helping children learn about healthy food choices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Genuine Passion for Nutrition & Early Childhood Education: A love for preparing wholesome meals and a desire to positively impact children's lives.
  • Experience in Food Preparation: Previous experience working in a kitchen, ideally in a childcare or education setting.
  • Attention to Detail: A high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to connect with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Full Work Rights in Australia.
