Job Description

Oversee entire restaurant operation. Responsible for ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and dining pleasure by constantly and consistently maintaining a high level of service and correct operating procedures.

  • Act as host in greeting and seating guests

  • Handle all guest complaints

  • Administer all disciplinary action

  • Responsible for all administrative duties

  • Supervise, plan, and direct all team members

  • Ensure compliance to all rules, regulations, and procedures

  • Document all incidents in detail

  • Ensures that the outlet is clean and organized so team members can locate resources and product

  • Assign stations and record attendance

  • Provides training to new team members and reinforces training with current team members

  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to continue operating to standard and to set a positive example for other team members

  • Inspect team members for proper uniform, cleanliness, identification, etc.

  • Order supplies to ensure proper par levels

  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products

  • Ensure a safe working environment for employees

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

  • Knowledge in food and beverage cost accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and alcohol awareness
  • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English
  • Ability to perform intermediate math
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience required
  • 2-5 years food and beverage management in high volume operations or any combination of education, training or experience that has provided the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job duties preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work is performed in areas which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and smoky on slippery surfaces

  • Work may be performed in small areas having a 2-ft. access

  • Work area is subject to variable temperatures
  • Work may include exposure to vibration, solvents/oils, fumes/odors and dirt/dust

  • Requires the use of chemicals, electrical, mechanical and computer equipment, flame/heat-generated devices

  • Constant contact with staff and guests

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

  • Regularly required to talk or hear and occasionally required to talk on the telephone

  • Regularly required to taste or smell

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
