Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our Sushi Sushi outlet at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, leading a team, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and driving strong commercial outcomes.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm

What You’ll Do (key responsibilities)

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

• Oversee daily outlet operations ensuring efficiency and consistency

• Maintain high food quality and presentation standards

• Ensure adherence to opening/closing procedures

• Support rostering and labour optimisation

• Deliver exceptional customer service

• Resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain high presentation standards

• Drive a customer-first culture

• Drive upselling and product availability

• Lead, coach, and develop team members

• Support onboarding and training

• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture

• Address performance and behaviour concerns

What You’ll Bring (experience required)

• Looking for someone with eye for detail, very hands on with Asian Cuisine Experience is Highly Desirable.

• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage or Hospitality supervisory role

• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments

• Experience managing teams and operational workflows

• Exceptional customer service

• Current Food Handlers Certificate

• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
