The F&B Manager is expected to manage all aspects of service within the Outlets to include, Restaurant, Lobby Bar, Pool Bar and Banquets. He/She will comply with all standards of service and operating procedures. The F&B Manager will be instrumental in maintaining concept, beverage menu development and overall guest and employee satisfaction. The F&B Manager will also adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations concerning health, safety, and other compliance requirements. The ideal candidate has a passion for building and leading a highly effective team, for delivering the highest standard of service and the highest quality of food and drinks. The candidate is in tune with current culinary and beverage trends and is able to react to changes in the market quickly. Having demonstrated this passion successfully through professional experience is a must. This position will also require clear communication, motivation skills, productive coaching and precise accountability.

Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include:

oSupervise day-to-day activities of one or more food and/or beverage outlets. Plan and organize work. Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.

Responsible for departmental schedules, and labor control.

oWork closely with the F&B Director in all aspects of day to day activities.

Assist with pricing revisions and updates in POS.

oEnsure that all restaurant equipment (coffee and soda machines, registers, etc.) is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basis.

oEnsure that all restaurant facilities are cleaned, vacuumed, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volumes.

oPromote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include Sales and Marketing, Catering, Banquets, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Guest Services.

oMonitor performance of the restaurant through analysis of guest feedback and financial results.

oMaintain procedures to ensure the security and proper storage of restaurant inventory, and equipment.

oAchieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs, and maximize profitability within all areas of the food and beverage outlet(s)

oAttract, retain, and motivate the best talent.

Conduct monthly departmental meetings to uphold departments standard and conduct corporate mandated trainings.

oEnsure team members receive proper training applicable to their position and career aspirations and in accordance with company policy and/or local laws.

oResponsible for monitoring, measuring, and recognizing performance of team members who directly report to the role and indirect reports.

oSupport, comply and promote company initiative, policies and guidelines.

oHandle employee issues in a professional and timely manner.

oInitiate corrective action as needed.

oResponsible for ensuring success through the eyes of employees, guests, and owners.

oUtilize and collaborate with resources across different departments and corporate office.

Pay Range

Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience. This position is bonus‑eligible, with an annual incentive opportunity of 10% of base salary.
