We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road Chennai, India. As a key member of our hospitality management team, you will oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

  • Direct and coordinate all food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets
  • Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, service excellence, and hygiene throughout all F&B areas
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other departments to create innovative dining experiences and promotional events
  • Develop and manage F&B budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue
  • Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of F&B staff to deliver outstanding service
  • Oversee inventory management, supplier relations, and purchasing processes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge
  • Implement and maintain quality control and performance measurement systems

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar senior F&B role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability in financial management, including budgeting and cost control
  • Proficiency in inventory management and familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with a track record of enhancing guest experiences
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving in high-pressure environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hospitality management software
