The aim of these internships is to foster students’ professional development and understanding of the world of Hospitality. The intern will have a good exposure to hotel operations and will receive guidance on career planning throughout the internship.
We provide each intern with valuable experiences in the field of hospitality, including networking opportunities, and hands-on experience which will prepare the intern to successfully enter the workforce in the future. The intern will also learn how to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment.
Ideally, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
Interns in the F&B areas will provide a service to guests experiencing the restaurants, bars or pool areas. This includes activities such as serving meals, assisting with queries and providing correct information. Other duties include accepting and recording guest orders whilst at the same time assisting with any questions regarding food & beverage preparation; receiving and carrying out orders from supervisors; interacting in a courteous and professional manner with guests whilst adhering to the hotel standards. The most promising interns will also be entrusted with supervisory duties and responsibilities.
Remuneration
The interns will receive a gross monthly allowance of €835.10% will be deducted as National Insurance.
Interns can opt to stay in a shared room in the students’ accommodation which is located on hotel grounds. Those staying in the students’ accommodation will have access to a common kitchen , living and laundry areas.
The possibility for student accommodation is on first come, first served basis as the number of rooms is limited and the rooms are being booked at a fast pace.
