We are currently seeking a passionate and service-oriented Food & Beverage Hostess to join our five-star team in Bermuda. As a Hostess, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for our guests while ensuring the highest level of service is maintained within our Food & Beverage outlets.

As a Food & Beverage Hostess, you will warmly welcome and guide guests to available tables, provide information on daily food and beverage specials, and maintain a friendly and professional attitude throughout the guest experience. You will work closely with the service team to ensure smooth outlet operations, maintain knowledge of food service styles and outlet procedures, and address guest concerns and complaints using effective conflict-resolution skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome and seat guests while creating a warm and inviting first impression.
• Work closely with servers and the F&B team to ensure smooth and efficient guest flow.
• Inform guests of daily food and beverage specials and relevant outlet offerings.
• Maintain an upbeat, friendly, and professional attitude throughout all guest interactions.
• Maintain knowledge of food service styles and the specific expectations and procedures of the outlet.
• Address guest concerns and complaints professionally, utilizing appropriate conflict-resolution skills.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a positive example for the F&B team.
• Support the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the outlet.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of one (1) year of continuous experience as a Food & Beverage Server or one (1) year of experience as a Hostess in a fine dining restaurant or fast-paced luxury hotel restaurant environment is required.
• Proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to professionally address and resolve customer complaints.
• Must be a good team player with a positive and service-oriented attitude.
• Proficiency with OpenTable and Micros or similar systems is preferred.
• Hotel, customer service, or Tourism certifications are considered an asset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties, including lifting, as required.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
