Location Overview
Join our team in Amangalla. Amangalla lies within the ramparts of Sri Lanka’s 17th-century Galle Fort, a Unesco World Heritage Site. Offering views of the Fort and harbour on one side and the hotel’s lush gardens and swimming pool on the other, the historic residence presents lofty-ceilinged suites, elegant dining and a tranquil Aman Spa complete with Hydrotherapy Suites.

Role

As a Food & Beverage Executive, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality. You will support the daily operations of our restaurant while ensuring every guest interaction is personalised, refined, and memorable.

Responsibilities

* Deliver outstanding food and beverage service in line with the hotel's ultra-luxury brand standards.

* Create memorable guest experiences through personalised, attentive, and professional service.

* Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus, beverages, wine pairings, and promotions to confidently guide guests.

* Anticipate guest needs and resolve requests or concerns promptly and professionally.

* Uphold exceptional standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with hotel policies.

* Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations.

* Support inventory control, stock handling, and accurate billing procedures.

* Contribute to achieving departmental service, quality, and guest satisfaction goals.

Requirements

* Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

* Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations within a luxury or upscale hotel environment.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service.

* Professional appearance and a positive, service-oriented attitude.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in English; additional language skills will be an advantage.

* Knowledge of luxury hospitality service standards and fine dining etiquette is highly desirable.
