Job Description

Operating in the hospitality and restaurant industry for nearly 50 years, Gray Collection is an award-winning group of authentically local hotels and restaurants that offer travelers from around the world the experience of friendly luxury. Among our establishments are Maggie Oakes, Jacopo, Vieux-Port Steakhouse, Pincette, Bevo Bar+Pizzeria, Restaurant Gaspar, Terrasse le Perché, Terrasse William Gray, and Terrasse sur l’Auberge.

The Food & Beverage Coordinator provides administrative support to the Food & Beverage Management team, contributing to the smooth operation and effective management of multiple food and beverage outlets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to all guest feedback posted on various online platforms (TripAdvisor, OpenTable, Facebook, etc.).
• Respond to all inquiries received through the “info@” email accounts for each outlet.
• Develop and update menus using iMenuPro.
• Prepare weekly Revinate reports for all three outlets.
• Update and maintain sales data for each outlet in the sales tracking spreadsheet.
• Draft communications for Food & Beverage employees and ensure that all employee bulletin boards are kept up to date.
• Provide support and assist with the follow-up and implementation of new policies and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from guests wishing to make group reservations and manage these reservations.
• Perform any other duties required to support the managers of the three outlets, as well as the Director of Food & Beverage.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position (asset).
• Education in Restaurant or Hospitality Management (asset).
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
• Available to work a daytime schedule and weekends.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
