Set on the stunning Mornington Peninsula, RACV Cape Schanck Resort is a destination known for exceptional hospitality, memorable experiences and genuine service. We’re currently seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our passionate team and help deliver outstanding service to our members, guests and visitors.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, timely and courteous service, anticipating member, guest and visitor needs
  • Carry out food and beverage service duties including taking orders, running food, making coffee, servicing sections, setting tables, running the pass, beverage service and maintaining clean sections
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across menus, wine lists and beverages
  • Accurately take and process orders using POS systems, adhering to accounting and error‑handling procedures
  • Maintain excellent presentation of work areas and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen teams, fellow F&B staff and other departments across the property
  • Support a continuous improvement mindset by contributing ideas to enhance service delivery
  • Undertake additional duties, aligned to your skills and experience, as required

About you

You’ll bring a strong service ethic, a genuine passion for hospitality and a positive, can‑do attitude. You enjoy working in a team environment with high standards and take pride in delivering memorable guest experiences.

You will have

  • Previous experience in section waiting, supporting events and bar experience in a high quality hospitality environment
  • Knowledge in the Conference and Event Space
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • The ability to quickly build rapport with guests and your team.
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • A strong customer service focus and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • A valid Victorian RSA
  • Full working rights in Australia.

You must be available to work evening to be considered for this role.

Desirable experience

  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and sequence of service principles
  • Experience across à la carte, buffet, banquet or function service
  • Understanding of wine and bar beverages
  • Basic knowledge of food allergies
  • Familiarity with RACV products, services or local tourism offerings (highly regarded, not essential)
