About the role:

As a Food & Beverage All Rounder within our Hornby Distribution Centre Cafeteria, you'll play an important role in delivering quality food, great coffee, and friendly service to our team and visitors. This role combines both Front of House and kitchen responsibilities- from preparing fresh food and a range of beverages to maintaining presentation standards across the café, you'll help ensure our customers enjoy a positive experience every time they visit.

You’ll work Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am - 3:00pm, with additional shifts available as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a range of food and beverages, including barista-style coffee.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and assist customers with orders and menu selections.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
• Support food preparation activities in line with recipes and quality expectations.
• Receive and put away deliveries, rotate stock, and replenish café supplies.
• Maintain clean, organised kitchen, service, and customer areas.

About you:

You're someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment and takes pride in doing the basics well. You bring a positive attitude, a willingness to pitch in wherever needed, and a genuine enjoyment in working with people. Ideally, you’ll also bring:

• Experience in a café, hospitality, food service, or customer-facing environment.
• Confidence preparing food and beverages, or the willingness to learn.
• An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens.
• Experience handling stock or supporting day-to-day café operations.
• Good communication skills and a team-first approach.
