Food and Beverage Team Member

As a Food and Beverage Team Member, you’ll be integral to our front-of-house operations. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including serving guests, managing reservations, preparing and serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Whether you’re a Waitress/Waiter, Host/Hostess, or Bartender, your role is crucial in delivering high-quality service and enhancing our guests’ overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

For Waitress/Waiter:

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take and accurately record food and beverage orders.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times.

For Host/Hostess:

  • Welcome and greet guests as they enter the restaurant/bar.
  • Manage reservations and assign tables based on availability and guest preferences.
  • Provide accurate wait times and manage guest seating efficiently.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor throughout each guest interaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate with waitstaff and management to ensure smooth service operations.

For Bartender:

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
  • Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of guests.
  • Engage with guests to create a memorable experience and provide recommendations.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Restock and replenish bar supplies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Food & Beverage role is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced island resort environment and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
