Job Description

ESSENTIALDUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for serving meals and beverages to patrons in a prompt, correct and courteous fashion in any of the property'sfoodandbeverageoutletsandbanquetareas.Demonstratesanitaryfoodhandlingandequipmentsafety, properlystore and label food items,maintain standards of sanitation andfood handling based on County,State and Federal regulations. Maintain clean and neat work area.Follow the Steps of service for the venue they areworking as outlined in the venue policies and procedures.Availability to work a flexible schedule.Assure exceptional customerservicetoallpatronsbycommunicatinginapleasant, friendly,andprofessionalmanneratalltimes.Must follow allcash handling SOP'softhe venuethey areworking.Performs allotherduties as assigned bymanagement. Note -this position will not involve any function involving casino gambling by patrons.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Previous serving experience required. Excellent customer service/communicationskillsessential.Availabletoworkrequiredschedule,asdirectedbydepartmentmanagement. Musthaveneatandcleanappearanceandadheretothecasinopolicyondress codeandbeout-going.Musthave the ability to obtain and hold an Occupational License as required by the Indiana Horse Racing Commission. Must be certifiedinServeSafeAlcoholAwareness,andIndianaStateapproveAlcoholTraining.HoldanIndianaATC{Alcohol& Tobacco Commission) License. Position requires scheduling flexibility, may be required to work weekends, holidays, overnight, or overtime, based upon scheduling and business needs.

performingtheessentialfunctionsofthisjob.HorseshoeIndianapolisisasmokingestablishment,thereforemustbe able to work in a smoking environment. Must be able to work in a highly populated fast-paced and noisy environment.
