Job Description

Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is Broome’s premier beachfront escape, set along the iconic 22-kilometre stretch Cable Beach where white sand meets turquoise water. Spanning across 26 acres, the resort features 225 rooms, 2 pools, a tour desk & resort shop, day spa & hair salon and an impressive variety of cuisine to enjoy across 4 restaurants, all designed to deliver unforgettable and world-class experiences to guests from around the globe.

Broome offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle easily accessible by plane from all major Australian cities and offers all the essential shops, restaurants, cinema, schools and hospitals.

We are looking for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to assist the overall running of the Food and Beverage Department including financial outcomes, service delivery and product presentation.

You will report to the Executive Food and Beverage Manager, and your main duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Maintain the high-quality standards of service to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Utilise staff and resources to facilitate the operation of Food and Beverage outlets and services at Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa
  • Coordinate the manning, set up and execution of events and functions
  • Assist Food and Beverage Manager to control and analyse departmental costs
  • Monitor subordinate manager’s control of labour costs and roster management, and direct where necessary
  • Create and maintain relationships with individuals outside the Resort, such as suppliers, contractors, labour relations representatives and competitors
  • Devise initiatives and strategies to ensure financial targets are met
  • When necessary, perform disciplinary actions in accordance with Resort policies and procedures
  • Assist with the control in the control and analysis of departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience as Food and Beverage Operations Manager
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Reliable and flexible attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure managing large teams over multiple outlets
  • Micros experience preferred
