Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel

The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel has over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.

JOB PURPOSE: Provide a daily support to all in house group guests, (express groups, catering groups) & meeting planners. Respond to customer inquiries and requests, providing information as requested i.e. in house meeting reader board information, convention activities, location of events, etc.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Support the Banquet Operations from an Administrative standpoint.
• Ensure Kronos is up to date and all Associates are compensated accurately.
• Order supplies and materials for the Banquet Operation
• Prepare meeting timelines and documents for departmental and cross-departmental needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance

• Desktop computer (Epitome, GoConceirge, Synergy, Microsoft Office, Kronos, Delphi, Meeting Matrix, Open Table, Micros terminals, Birchstreet), printer, telephone, copier, fax machine, two-way radio dispatch, scanner
