Home to the popular Belvedere Restaurant & Bar, along with meeting and event facilities, the hotel provides the perfect base for guests exploring Tasmania's vibrant capital city.

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team. If you enjoy creating great guest experiences, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for hospitality, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service across our restaurant, bar and event spaces. You'll be the face of the guest experience, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, professional and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive food and beverage service to guests
• Take food and beverage orders and serve meals and drinks efficiently
• Prepare and maintain dining and bar areas to brand standards
• Assist with the setup and operation of meetings, events and functions
• Handle guest enquiries professionally and promptly
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across hotel operations

What You'll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, café, bar or customer service experience
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and professional approach to guest service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail

Desirable

• Previous experience in a hotel environment
• Food Safety and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Experience supporting events, functions or conferencing operations
