Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and service-oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver exceptional guest experiences across our restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and event operations. This role is responsible for providing professional food and beverage service, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness, supporting operational set-up and closing activities, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and responsible service standards. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is committed to exceeding guest expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to guests.
  • Welcome and engage guests, respond to requests promptly, and resolve guest concerns with a focus on exceptional service.
  • Prepare and maintain restaurants, bars, banquet spaces, buffets, waiter stations, and in-room dining areas for service.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately, process payments, and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Promote menu items, daily specials, wines, cocktails, and other beverage offerings to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including wine, cocktails, coffee, and tea, in accordance with service standards and responsible alcohol service requirements.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of menus, hotel facilities, promotions, and services.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain glassware, crockery, cutlery, equipment, and service areas, following clean-as-you-go practices.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies, securing equipment, cleaning work areas, and completing daily cleaning checklists.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to food safety, hygiene, security, and workplace health and safety standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Warm, friendly, and outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, bar, or customer service role is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Willingness to learn food and beverage service standards, including responsible service of alcohol and food safety practices.
  • Professional grooming and presentation standards.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
