Food & Beverage Administrator

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food & Beverage Administrator to assist the food and beverage management team with administrative duties and reporting to allow them to work in and on their specific outlets.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’llkeep tables clean and dining areas tidy, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Pay Rate: $23/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Become and maintain knowledgeable in all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training program for all food and beverage outlets within the resort.
  • Regularly prepare all required paperwork, forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, food and beverage outlets/ventures, associates and guests.
  • Assist the F ood and Beverage Director in carrying out restaurant marketing, advertising, and promotional activities and campaigns and when applicable, get proper approvals to ensure it meets resort standards.
  • Work in concert with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure back-of-the-house needs are being met.
  • Manage all mail for the Food and Beverage team.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Director.

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver's license required and must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 1-2 years of executive or general secretarial or administrative experience strongly preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in a restaurant, bar, banquet kitchen, hotel, or resort environment preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English effectively. Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
  • High level of organization needed with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.
